'....we choose to have Phelim Byrne Professional Catering Services to have a buffet set up for us in our home in Gorey as it was a family communion, we left phelim and his team in our home setting up the mouthwatering buffet and upon return were greated with an array of scrumptious fingerfoods and platters, set up beautifully and all the crockery, cutlery , glassware, napkins included.....such a treat to return home to....so i put my feet up and relaxed....can he come live with us my seven year old asked?......no!..but he'll be doing your confirmation I replied!!!....thanks a million, highly recomended, easiest ever...'

'I had a wedding in December, in a tent, for 270 people ,in the lashing rain and howling wind, and it is still a mystery to me how Phelim Byrne managed to produce a 5 star , 5 course dinner, which was so exceptional, people I met in Los angeles last week are still talking about it..not to mention from Dublin to Bunclody to Cork! He was recomended to me by a chef I know; we met and that was that, I trusted him completely, no fuss, no bother just straight talking,decisions made, lots of comunication along the way about any aspect I wanted talk about. To be able to delegate the meal completely, and literally not have to worry again took a tremendous amount of pressure off the mother of the brides shoulders I can assure you! The meal itself was exactly as we had discussed( but more beautifully presented than I could have imagined) and the staff he brought with him were the most professional group I have seen at any function, they were attentive, discreet and a pleasure to have around.

I couldn't recomend Phelim Byrne more highly, and I am a fuss pot when it comes to food!!! Pink Racks of lamb for 270 ??? genius...'
